API usage | Inform Direct Integration API

The sandbox and production environments will have different rate limits:

Sandbox: Limited to 30 API calls every 5 minutes.

Production: Allows up to 3,000 API calls every 5 minutes. The "Add Company" endpoint has a separate rate limit of 50 companies per 5 minutes, due to restrictions imposed by Companies House and the need to fetch data from their system.

If any of the above limits are reached a 429 response error will returned.
